Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP
Our entire organization uses NetSuite, and we use it for a number of different tasks. My use is related to the CRM, as a donor database. I record opportunities (grant applications or donation pledges) and cash sales, create invoices, and track donations and donors. I run reports to identify donors based on historical, recent or lapsed giving, dollar amount, event participation. I can also see retails purchases made onsite or online.
- Keeps information together in one place
- Communicates with our accounting software
- Communicates with our online shopping portal
- There are some issues, but I'm not sure if the issues are generated by NetSuite, or by other software inputting data into NetSuite
- Sometimes NetSuite creates a long list of duplicate addresses for a single constituent
- I don't have hard numbers, but feel that this product gives me a good overall view of donors and their donations
As noted, NetSuite is not as intuitive as a donor database, but we've made it work
