Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
I use NinjaOne to remote into user desktops for software installation and troubleshooting. I can see all of our systems both physical and virtual, which makes keeping up with devices very easy and simple. NinjaOne fits very well into our work appropriately business model giving IT the flexibility to troubleshoot from anywhere.
Pros
- Provides a hardware inventory
- Allows a quick remote connection to systems
- Has a very simple admin interface
Cons
- The NinjaOne endpoint agent should update automatically prior to a connection
- It would be great to boot into the BIOS
- I would like to see a mobile app for iOS mainly for sharing a desktop
- Allowed us to use our full IT staff in remote offices to troubleshoot
- The quick site response times helps reduce the time spent trying to find, connect, and fix systems
- The ease of use creates confidence from our users that we can quickly fix their problems from anywhere in the world.
NinjaOne has been a force multiplier for our IT staff allowing us to troubleshoot any system from anywhere in the world instead of having to be onsite at any one of our offices. Seeing the health of each device allows us to target groups or individual systems instead of pushing a blanket "fix" across the network.
NinjaOne allows us to see the health of each system, the details, and the last user, which gives us the information to cross reference in our SIEM and AV solution and conduct remediation tasks efficiently and quickly. NinjaOne also provides a definitive list of devices connected to our network for a great overall visibility.
We have not automated any of the IT tasks at this time, but that is something we are researching as we build AI solutions for our common tasks. I know we have barely scratched the surface of NinjaOne, and we are working to further integrate with our SIEM in the near future.
NinjaOne has a great response time when pushing software, and provides a positive indication of it working without additional time monitoring or asking the user to verify processes. The level of system detail is a great advantage in NinjaOne when trying to narrow down hidden processes or system activity while troubleshooting.
