Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform

Nintex Process Platform is being implemented for use across our entire North American region. It is much more user-friendly and intuitive than combing through long documents to find the needed information, and helps connect the dots between lengthy processes as they pass from department to department. It also helps reduce duplication of information across departments.

  • Connections between processes are easy to follow and visualize.
  • Built-in Glossary of terms to be used across all processes.
  • Keeps system/product managers in the loop by including them as stakeholders.
  • No ranked searches in Glossary.
  • Changes only in content in the notes feature can be hard to see if notes are collapsed.
  • No ability to add comments when approving processes for publishing.
  • Reduction of risk through automated communication and one source of truth for information.
  • Increased engagement with content.
  • Reduced time spent on small training sessions and communication.
We use a cloud-based instance for our Region only (another area of the organization have their own instance). We also employ the Single Sign On option. This made it extremely easy to implement within the organization and, being cloud-based, updates are done on a regular on-going basis with little to no disruption to the users.
It is being used by all users across our organization. All employees use it to access their "work instruction" level information in order to do their jobs and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the content using the feedback feature. Managers use the reporting to gain a better understanding of training needs and user engagement.
We selected Nintex Process Platform as we already use Nintex products for form and workflow development and are familiar and comfortable with them as a Vendor. The option to tie process automation directly to the processes as drafted in the platform was definitely an added bonus, and the features added since we initially purchased the product (like checklists) have just increased usability.
It is very well suited for mid-size or larger organizations where consistency in work methods are very important, and where organizational groups are many, diverse, and/or separated geographically. The automated communication of process changes helps considerably with change management in such an organization. A smaller organization may not need such a robust tool.
