Overall Satisfaction with Oktopost

We use Oktopost across all of our media outlets to help schedule and manage different social media campaigns.

It has helped us to keep all of our social media accounts in a single place and allows us to better view and manage different campaigns which allows us to keep better track of how each program is doing and how each outlet is performing overall.
  • Oktopost has a great interface for publishing posts, allowing you to select multiple social media profiles and easily schedule a message across all of them.
  • Oktopost tracks your performance and has an automated tool that will schedule posts for you based on when past posts performed best and it works pretty well.
  • I like the ability to create multiple campaigns easily and quickly. The whole interface is very simple to use and streamlined.
  • I think the interface navigation could use some better explanation of what everything is, but it is still easy to use once you are used to it.
  • There aren't a ton of issues I've had with Oktopost. It really does what I needed it to do.
10 - The majority of our Oktopost users are Editors for our publications and marketing people that help with general promotions.
  • Oktopost has saved our editors a lot of time. They can post something to one site or batch schedule multiple posts to multiple sites at one time and Oktopost handles everything really well.
  • We're better able to track performance of our Social Media posts and how they perform with Oktopost.
We use similar programs to Oktopost in our organization like Hootsuite, so we didn't really compare Oktopost against them, we just use them for different things based on familiarity and processes. There aren't any specific products that we looked to replace or compete, it was mainly looking for something that fit our needs at the time and Oktopost worked well, but we still do have people using Hootsuite as well who perform different tasks.

They both have unique features and benefits that work well.
Oktopost is great if you have several Social Media profiles you want to manage and want to schedule and post all your things in a simple interface. They have a great calendar view that shows everything that is coming up and you can easily move or change postings with a few clicks.

It is also good for managing a single account. It has all the features I need for our single account markets, like campaigns, tracking, scheduling, etc.

I think if you are trying to manage a very large number of social media profiles it might get a bit difficult. There are tools more suited for that than Oktopost that may be easier, but Oktopost would still work.
