Just what we need

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We primarily use Hootsuite for scheduling, posting, and analyzing performance of social posts across our channels. We anticipate doing more with campaigns and exploring OwlyGPT more often in the near term.

Pros

  • Analytics: The insights we glean are important to how we develop and plan content.
  • Amplification: In just a short period of time using Amplify, we're seeing real movement on our metrics.
  • Organization: Just thinking back to how we managed before, I'm confident that we have everything we need in Hootsuite to keep the function going if someone is OOO.

Cons

  • Our accounts seem to disconnect fairly frequently
  • Logging in can be an issue. I'm no longer needed day-to-day, but when I do log in, the 2FA has been a chore and the process can be streamlined.
  • The Listening function is a little clunky and slow, but the insights are solid.

Return on Investment

  • We had been using a similar scheduling tool that was limiting and didn't provide us the analytics we needed to measure success. Now, with easy posting and the insights from Hootsuite reports, we've seen our follower growth and engagement tic up nicely.
  • Using Amplify, we've been able to onboard and amplify the reach on some of our social posts, so that's something we're going to lean in on for the rest of the year.
  • Visibility and consistency provided by Hootsuite is key. We have a robust review process and often times don't have finalized copy until the moment something needs to go live, so being able to push from one platform and track performance is crucial.

1010 A Powerful All-in-One Platform for Scalable Social Media Management.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Hootsuite to centralize social media management for most of our clients. It helps us manage multiple social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc., in one place instead of having to log in to each individually. We use it to schedule social media content in advance, manage posts, and coordinate content across channels from a single dashboard. We also use its analytics and reporting tools to track soft metrics such as engagement, reach, and CTR, which help us optimize our content strategy.

Pros

  • Scheduling social media content in advance and publishing across different social media channels.
  • For organizing the content approval process.
  • Analyzing soft metrics across channels to build social media strategy.
  • For creating custom reporting.

Cons

  • Limitations in approving posts, scheduling posts, or reviewing analytics feel hard to use on a mobile device.
  • Custom reporting combinations does not give granular reporting.
  • Features such as sentimental analysis and cross-platform audience breakdowns can be improved.

Return on Investment

  • 40 to 50% time savings in content operations.
  • 25% increase in engagement due to consistent posting.
  • Improved lead response due to improved response times.

Hootsuite is a hoot

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Hootsuite is used for all of our internal media tracking. We launched a small media group (Rise Free Media) last year where we have multiple channels led by internal teams - YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. We needed a system where we could track all of the views and metrics for social media to determine the reach and effectiveness of these channels. Hootsuite solved this issue with ease!

Pros

  • Reporting. We are able to pull accurate and concise data points on our channels.
  • Planning and calendaring. We love that we are able to have our teams plan out content across months so that we are never feeling behind schedule on getting content out there.
  • Creating content natively in the platform!

Cons

  • One thing that is more of a nice-to-have would be being able to see metrics and data points directly on the calendar feature instead of having to leave there to go to analytics.

Return on Investment

  • Through this platform, our followers have grown 32%.
  • We have gone from posting less than once per week to at least 2-3 times per week.
  • Engagement has increased by more than 2000% since last month and even more since the beginning of implementation.

Don't think twice. Hootsuite is a no brainer.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Being able to schedule posts is a game changer. It allows me to get ideas out of my head and off of my to do list without keeping tasks and reminders that would have to last for weeks at a time.

Besides that, a high-visibility calendar lets us see at a glance when we're light on social media content, and even more importantly, when we're too heavy and when something might get lost.

Pros

  • Scheduling posts
  • Managing multiple social media profiles across platforms
  • One stop to manage comments, replies, and messages

Cons

  • Post suggestions that connect to current events
  • Post suggestions that integrate local content
  • Dark mode

Return on Investment

  • Increased online giving
  • Increased online revenue
  • Increased donor interaction
