Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely

Optimizely is used by our Digital Strategy team to manage not only our own web properties but those of our clients as well. Optimizely provides a lightweight solution to our optimization needs and makes it easy to apply solid strategies across all of our products. The product is easy to use, easy to learn and packed full of powerful solutions.

Cons

  • Enhanced ability to track custom conversions
  • Easier to target hot spots on pages and optimize for them
Optimizely is better with the customization, Unbounce can make great looking pages but the interface is very limited and can be difficult to make design changes.
I think it is a great alternative to Unbounce and much cheaper.
People without a lot of coding skill and/or background will get more out of it than someone with a decent coding background. Because of the ease of use it can feel a bit "simplified" for some.
