Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

Outreach is currently being used by the sales team to run multi-stage campaigns. It allows our team to systematically track which prospects we have already reached out to, the status of our leads, and who has replied to us. It also means we can automate the process so the ball doesn't get dropped.
  • Allows us to build complex campaigns to target our customers that automatically move to the next stage.
  • Very low barrier to entry, easy to set up and get going.
  • It integrates nicely into Gmail and our CRM.
  • The reporting is really lacking, hard to extract the results and put them in a dashboard for the executive team.
  • The UI needs some work, I often struggle with my tasks and figuring out the view that is the most useful for me.
  • I don't feel like I have a customer success person to reach out and if I had a problem, I wouldn't know who to contact.
  • Allows us to efficient send out email campaigns and not drop the ball.
  • It syncs well with the CRM so it doesn't involve too much double entry.
  • Gives the management team visibility into the success of relative campaigns
Outreach and SalesLoft are very similar tools with a similar price but SalesLoft definitely has a nicer UI and more robust analytics. Ultimately we went to Outreach as my CMO was very comfortable with it as he had used it previously and I was also familiar with the product as i've used it before.
Outreach works well for small to medium sales teams who want to send out highly customized email and phone call marketing campaigns. It's not a great tool to use if you are looking for some robust analytics or want to track steps that fall outside of email/calls (LinkedIn touches/Inmail/Twitter etc).
