Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

It's simple enough to create templates for use now or later, and the integration with Salesforce is pretty reliable. Sequence building could use some work. It hasn't been as simple as it could be.
Outreach is being used primarily by sales development and account executives. Giving the ability to assign tasks and store templates, the tool alleviates the need for constantly referring back to other shared storage spaces which saves many clicks.

  • Streamlines the process of prospecting
  • Issues with opting prospects out of emails even if being imported for the first time
  • Sequence/template clean-up could be simpler
  • Issues with VOIP are more frequent than desired
  • The ability to remain within Outreach frees up a substantial amount of time. This carries an impact across almost every metric.
I was not a part of the evaluation of SalesLoft. My team felt that the Outreach product armed us with the ability to do more with one tool.
Outreach is well suited for lead-gen teams and sales development teams that are sending a lot of template emails. The functionality will give you the opportunity to stay on track and not let a lead "slip through the cracks".
