Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty

Based on my experience, PagerDuty has been a stroke of genius, especially in an ever changing scenarios like ours where things can quickly escalate. Incident notifications arrive promptly and the issues are automatically directed to the appropriate department for resolution. The dashboard is user-friendly and more inclined towards self service.

Pros

  • Encountering issues through 24/7 monitoring
  • On time notifications
  • User friendly dashboard
  • Transferring issues to appropriate departments

Cons

  • False positives should be reduced
  • 24/7 monitoring
  • Notifications and alerts
  • Automation that analyses and prevents future repeat issues
  • PagerDuty is a solid choice for us that has delivered real value in terms of annual returns
The most crucial feature of PagerDuty is it's rock solid reliability, especially when it comes to keeping everything running without a maintenance downtime to never miss a critical alert which could have had an adverse impact on the overall health of the organisation.
I like that PagerDuty automatically communicates with the entire network and the softwares deployed. This integrated communication feature is a standout feature which ensures that not a single issue goes unreported.
