Overall Satisfaction with PagerDuty

What I like about PagerDuty is its ability to scan the application that's causing the error and auto-generate an incident ticket. The ticket details include the error date, time, a screenshot of the error, and the estimated TAT for resolution.

  • Turn around time for incident resolution.

Cons

  • I have not encountered serious error within PagerDuty yet.
  • Fast paced incident resolution.
  • Hassle free ticket management.
  • I do not have a clue about it since it was purchased by our IT team.
PagerDuty's best mechanism is that it is always up and running without its own maintenance downtime. This ensures that not only existing incidents are resolved on time, but also future contingencies are taken care of. Dual benefits.
With its pre-built platform integrations, PagerDuty has become a data repository for record-keeping of past incidents and for effectively using the same data to prevent future contingencies.

PagerDuty is designed for fast-moving environments like ours that need a specific software error resolved within TAT, and sooner if possible, so the business is less impacted by the unavailability of data-centric tools, such as a CRM.
