Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

We currently use the free version of PandaDoc and for a small organization like ours, it works very well and fits our needs for contracts. The free version allows me to assign signers, an order to signatures, date, info, and other fill-ins and send some basic reminders. It also shares the completed contract with all signers at the end which saves me a step in the process. There are some more features and shared accounts, etc. that should we get big enough I'd definitely look into but if you're just looking for a simple solution it works great.

Pros

  • PandaDoc saves info for signers so for regular signers you only need to start inputting the email and the name auto populates.
  • The fields that are added for signing, date, etc. are easy to drag and drop onto the form and adjust size to fit the forms.
  • It's easy to manage an order for signers when needed.

Cons

  • Honestly, there's nothing on the free version that isn't great for the price. There are certain parts you can't go back and edit, but the feature is available for the paid plans.
  • Between the speed of adding the fields to contracts and sending them out and the ease of use for the users, this has definitely cut down the time needed for managing contracts.
  • The system, even on the free version, stores past contracts so if you need to revisit or forgot to file one (it happens), the original is available to re-download quickly and easily.
As I've only used the free version of PandaDoc, I don't have experience with the templates, integrations, or workflows, but if they work as smoothly as the features on the free version then I imagine they would have a lot of benefit for a larger organization. For us, with one person managing all the contracts, etc. we're happy with it.
Not applicable for our current usage.
The documents are your created documents with just the added signature fields. The only additional piece is the last page which shows the verification of the signature connected to the individual email who accessed and signed the document. I've worked in other systems that wrap the contract in a cover page and a back page which takes away from the organizational branding and 'ownership.'
  • For our nonprofit, this has been useful for board agreements, COI declaration forms, etc.
  • We've been able to use it for some of our employee onboarding as well, particularly during this time of remote-work and hiring staff outside of the typical business area.
Both DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat have some strong features for e-signatures, but the additional bells and whistles have meant overly complex systems that are cumbersome for us. Additionally, there are a lot of added features we would have been paying for that we had no use for. It made PandaDoc a great option for us.

Do you think PandaDoc delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with PandaDoc's feature set?

Yes

Did PandaDoc live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of PandaDoc go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy PandaDoc again?

Yes

PandaDoc is great for small organizations looking for a simple way to process e-signature contracts. It's intuitive, easy to use, and makes sending out contracts and other documents really easy and fast. Given the quick turnaround from vendors and consultants, it seems to work well on the user end also which makes this a great tool in my book.
