Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server

We use Parallels Remote Server to deliver applications to users where the application doesn't work well remotely or between sites. It is being used by several departments, remote users, and remote sites.
  • Ease of use
  • Delivers applications as though they were installed on the local computer
  • Positive ROI to allow end-users to work more efficiently.
None, this was the first.
Yes, it makes the delivery of applications installed on the RDS very easy to roll out to end-users. It is easy for the end-users to use as well.
We have not used it much on these devices.
Our Parallels Remote Application Server is installed on VM Ware. This, along with the Parallels architecture, has allowed us to spin up the Parallels Remote Application Server in an HA capacity. Hence, it is always available to end-users, even if maintenance is being performed or a single server has issues.
We only use user access control to limit what applications certain users need to use. This works very well, and it is easy to make changes to provide what the users need.
Their first line support has resolved issues with me promptly; however, difficult issues sometimes take a while to get it escalated to the appropriate level of support.
