Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server

We implement Parallels Remote Application Server for customers in various industries. It is used to access remote PCs located in the office but also to access central virtual desktops hosted via MS RDP.

  • Fast pilot or test installation at the customer's site possible without high pilot costs
  • compared to the competition favorable and transparent priceing
faster, leaner and more comfortable at the same time cheaper than Citrix, and in relation to the benefits to native RDS good price/performance ratio
the training for the new product was very easy as the Console is fast and understandable. Videos and live training are provided - a good consultant or admin from this department can work with the product very quickly
All mobile devices that include a current browser could be used immediately without any additional client.
Supporting Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi and many different hyper-converged infrastructures are very important because customers want to use their existing and familiar systems here and not have to implement additional products. The connections to the various cloud hostings are also directly included and covered in the license.
Through Parallels Remote Application Server, some data and applications could be removed from mobile devices and centralized. Centrally, higher security (backup/restore), as well as data leakage, can be much better managed.
Every problem we had so far could either be solved directly by support or a request was created in development so that the feature is now ready in the next Parallel Remote Application Server version. Good manufacturer support is very important and unfortunately not good with some competitors.
