Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
I think lot of our efforts right now is to automate a lot of work. So I think Paycom is been really helpful with the employee self-service side and helping staff enroll in benefits and fill complete forms. We do enrollment forms online as well, so it's really helping us cut down on increased efficiencies, cut down on administrative work for the HR team
Pros
- I'd say one thing I really like is the customer service is very responsive. So we have a specialist and she's very responsive. If I send her an email, she responds within an hour, and there's always someone you can pick up the phone and call, even if your specialist isn't available, you'll talk to someone else on the team who can help. I think Paycom is helpful. I think employees find it helpful for going online, looking at their pay stubs, enrolling in benefits, open enrollment time, also new employees helping them get set up. I think it's really helpful for them to be able to just go online and enter all their information. And we recently started doing the E-Verify through Paycom as well, and I've taken a few webinars, trainings of Paycom too. Those are sometimes pretty fun. And I recently did the EEO-1 reporting, so I thought that was really helpful, just the way that you can just export all the data, set it up in Paycom, export it, and it easily, there's no issues uploading it directly into the EEOC website. So I thought that was a pretty smooth process. I've been doing it for a while, but this year I've done it a few times now, so I just feel like it's just really easy.
Cons
- I think sometimes there's parts of the system where you have to reenter information, different places for it to show. For the EEO one report, the job category has to be entered on form three, and then it has to be entered under the position. So sometimes it seems like you have to do multiple entries or multiple, complete multiple steps to get to where you want to go. So I think that that's sometimes can be a little frustrating just because it's not as efficient as you'd want it to be.
- I mentioned this before. The automation is really helpful for staff to be able to go in and just look at their paycheck or pay stubs, get their tax forms open enrollment, things like that has really helped. I'm looking forward to seeing what the a TS can offer too, and hope that that will automate a lot of processes that we have so that employees don't have to reenter their information. They've already applied for a job and have been selected for it already through the system. So I'm looking forward to seeing what else Paycom can offer with the a TS feature.
