Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We chose Paycom because we want to see greater visibility into our staffing numbers, who's present, how many people are on our teams, how we're building our teams and keeping our numbers where they need to be. It gives us just cleaner access to reporting, a lot of that stuff. And just our employee onboarding process is a lot easier when we do through a Paycom versus the old system of filling out 27 papers.
Pros
- Their customer service since implementation through the decision making process. And then when we decided to go with Paycom and implementation, the customer service has been phenomenal. Everybody we've worked with has been really knowledgeable and helpful and look for answers. If they don't have them, they're very responsive to emails and calls and really want us to get everything that we can out of it. And so they really work hard to make sure you know what you're doing and that you're getting the best out of it that you can. So that's been amazing.
Cons
- I haven't noticed anything yet. It's so much better than our previous system that as we're learning, it's more of a learning curve than a system gap. If I have an issue, it's because I don't know quite what I'm doing yet and not necessarily that the solution doesn't exist. So as time goes on, I might notice things, but right now I'm like, I just need to know how.
- Definitely time saving. When it's all going into the app, it's saving my team from having to type all that in, trying to read somebody's handwriting and make mistakes as they're transferring information. So that's definitely saved us a lot of time.
- Reduced errors in the onboarding process
- Some of the payroll checks and balances have helped catch mistakes before they make it to a payroll. So that's always a good thing.
