Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for payroll, applicant tracking, document management, and organizational structure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Regular rate pay in California, there are a few other companies that can do regular rate of pay and also the documents.
Housing and management assignment is really great.
The reporting is the best reporting. I've worked with many payroll systems and I love the reporting for Paycom and then the setup for the entire setup for all accruals, being able to do it myself.

Cons

Implementation was a struggle. We didn't quite understand the product when we were in implementation, so it did take some time to get it where we wanted it to, so it was fully functional and then it does take a long time to get any changes across the finish.

Return on Investment

Payroll has decreased in time now that we have it set up, and so that has saved on labor, which is a huge return on investment and then also not having corrections and missed a meal. The missed meal waiver is a huge return on investment because we have almost no missed meals now.

Single Software Solution

Mostly the biggest one for me is reporting. The reporting feature is better than Paylocity, Paychex, ADP. That's huge for me and I'm able to pull all of that data very quickly.

The automated features for reminders on documents has really helped because my admin are not doing that any longer. Paycom does it for me. Same thing with Beti. Everybody's waiting for their check approval before I get it, so that helps me not of the day of and figuring out if somebody has commissions wrong or anything like that.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's definitely well suited for California employers. It's well suited for Beti. A lot of blue collar workers want to know what they're going to get paid before they get paid. The Vault card has worked really well for us as well for our employees. So anybody who has a lot of data that they need to find because of having a large employee size, I think would be great.
