Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We use it for payroll. We use it for org chart. It's our HRIS system to onboard. So we use it for recruiting, onboarding, some training and payroll.

Pros

  • It's easy for employees to use in terms of requesting time off, knowing their schedule, being able to see their pay stubs

Cons

  • We need to learn how to use the various modules better so that it's a one-stop shop. I think there's a lot that the system does that is not easy to integrate, so it does require a little bit more advanced knowledge.
  • Positive would be the ease of use for our employees.
I think the implementation and setup is a little bit more difficult, but I hear that once it's set up it works well. So we're still in the process of having to refine.
For the employee side, I think it's good for them. The negative part for us is not being able to do the right types of reports that we'd want to in a more automated way with full integration.

I think it's well suited for an organization that has, I think we have a small staff of 100, but I think it could scale up, so I think it's well suited for organizations of all sizes.
