Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We mostly use it for payroll management. We also use it for document management, so things like compliance, documentation that needs signature, as well as putting in time off requests and other typical HR use cases.

Pros

  • Management of time off requests is very easy, pretty straightforward to utilize and certainly the document management is also very easy to utilize as well.

Cons

  • I believe Paycom could do a better job at partnering with external companies to provide certain services.
  • Probably reduced administrative costs for HR team. When it comes to the management of different onboarding processes
In previously we had a third party benefit administration tool that had a better capability to handle complex benefits products. It did create some inefficiency having it outside of the primary HR tool, so that's been somewhat of a benefit, but it did require less complexity in some of the benefits.
I believe it's made the workflows within HR and compliance and how they manage ensuring that individuals get the most updated information. It's made that easier.

The primary payroll functions are well built. The benefits management modules and components could probably be a little bit improved upon.
