Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In addition to payroll processing, we use Paylocity's Onboarding, Benefits, and Learning platforms. This ensures that all employees have access to the information, benefits, and training they need. It is so easy to record training by sharing my screen and navigating the learner through it, screen by screen. And the quizzes are so easy to create!

Pros and Cons

Onboarding process is smooth and easy to customize

Paylocity Automated Processes

Due to the nature of our work, we are unable to have the employees enter their timecards through the app, but the payroll process is much simpler than it was when we were with ADP. And the Time & Labor platform is so easy for our administrators to use! We love how it is integrated with the Time Off details.

Paylocity Employee Engagement

We do not yet use Peer Recognition, but the Premium Video has been invaluable. Still, we wish we had access to the full functionality of VidGrid so that we could edit our recordings. We mostly have PowerPoint presentations for our learners, so I record my screen as I narrate each slide for the learner.

Alternatives Considered

We used ADP for decades, but we always felt they were behind in the technology aspect of payroll. Paylocity offers so many platforms and is truly cutting edge when it comes to training, the PEAK help links, and integrating/connecting with our benefit providers for things like health care updates.

Likelihood to Recommend

The support we receive by phone is very prompt, and they are knowledgeable and professional. We wish the org charts were more flexible and easier to use. We also wish any notification for any platform would show in Messages on the HR platform since we use that one every day. For example: if there are tasks for a user to do on Benefits or Onboarding or Learning, a message should be sent (via the PCTY messages or email) to remind them.
