Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We changed to Paylocity from another provider or several reasons; most of all, we felt left out in the cold when we had questions/needed to access certain data, etc., for how much we paid monthly. We evaluated options and decided that Paylocity was the perfect mix of cost effectiveness + convenience + ease of use. We currently process weekly (hourly) payroll and semi monthly (salary) through the platform.

- responsive, dedicated support through email (if you're not in a rush)
- custom set up to suit our needs and existing timeclock system
- everything is easy to use and mostly very intuitive
- fewer payroll errors
- much faster to use/easier for someone to learn
- employee self service is extremely helpful (to people who take advantage of that offering)
- live customer service chat in the program - anytime I need help or have a question, I just login and open up chat and someone is available to help me (or direct me where to go if that's all I need.)
- reporting has been wonderful - they offer live data if you use their equipment (timeclock) but even without that, we have so many options for pulling reports/data
We can now run our weekly payroll like clockwork; prior to Paylocity, we used at least 2 other services which never quite suited our needs. They were both hard to use with time consuming processes and horrible reporting/support. We truly feel Paylocity has saved us so many headaches that we previously just "dealt with" as we felt we didn't have any good options.
We don't use these (our staff makeup is mostly ESL who often struggle with technology and communication. We have previewed these features and will definitely consider using them as our needs change.
None of these had the robust platform that Paylocity has. Paylocity has taken everything people hate about payroll providers and turned the list on it's head by taking "no, we can't do that" into "yes, we can and we have several ways to get you there!" It's refreshing and, for the millionth time, I can not stress how invaluable the live chat customer service has been to us.
