Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for payroll and benefits. It stream lines updating multiple employees in the benefits module vs. updating health ins. deductions on each individual employee. It's easier to track PTO vs. Intuit's process. It easier with 401k when the company is bridged so the 401k is processed automatically. I have been doing it manually for years especially with Intuit payroll software. Paylocity makes this simpler.
- Great reps. to assist when we have questions on how to correct payroll codes
- Tracks PTO wonderfully and the app allows employees to see their balances
- W-2 can be downloaded electronically. No need to mail all W2s for current employees.
- There needs to be a better flow whether the company uses T&L or HR and both flow back and forth for PTO, Holiday, ect.
- Better coding for memos and correct ones being use for PTO since we had an issue with that.
- I did not like the change to the reports and it showed duplicated reports when it transferred over to the new platform. Also the invoicing needs to go back to reporting.
- 100 % better for reduced costs and errors in processing payroll and tracking pay
- 80% better for data being used from reports on budgeting for the next year's salaries and raises
- Cost is so much better than Intuit Payroll costs
Paylocity's automation has made our business better so there is less time spent for Payroll & HR personnel from reviewing employee files looking for previous tax info (W2 updates) so employees can see it themselves in the self service portal. They can track their own PTO vs. Payroll personnel looking it up for them.
We do not use the engagement tools. We use Slack (a separate program) for this since it is live and messages are immediately responded to.
I have not used anything like Paylocity before. I am only familiar with Inuit via QuickBooks and it's nothing like Paylocity. Paylocity is so much better.
