Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use it for Time and Labor, HRIS, as well as a community forum that employees can connect with one another on. Overall, we have used/currently use the majority of the modules including Learning, Surveys, HR & Payroll, Time & Labor, and are currently implementing Recruiting and Onboarding to be completed by the end of the year.
Pros
- Provides numerous documents for assistance/guidance
- Ease of use for end users
- Implementation team we had was thorough
Cons
- Missing a general PTO accrual calculator
- Communication between Time and Labor and HR and Payroll is not there
- Bug fixes tend to take a while to implement and/or communications of fixes are lacking
- Organization of information in one location
- Provided outlet for employees to connect with one another virtually (including those remote)
Time tracking and review of timecards has decreased amount of time spent by Accounting team to review/approve prior to running payroll.
The community forum allows for employees to give "kudos" to others in the organization to recognize those individuals that go above and beyond. We have also integrated those into our annual reviews.
Cost was the number one seller on why we switched from ADP. We are happy with our change as a lot of the functions of ADP are present in Paylocity as well.
