Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for our payroll platform, our benefits module and our community announcements among other things. This helps us have one place for our staff to go for many of their work related issues. We are able to help our staff with these multiple things in a one-stop-shop kind of way. We are also learning more all the time and implementing more things that are useful within the Paylocity Platform.

Pros

  • They have very friendly customer service.
  • The platform is fairly user friendly.
  • Changes to staff info are easily made when necessary.

Cons

  • Mass update changes can take awhile.
  • There are regular times that service is delayed.
  • Paylocity has helped us have more consistent processes.
  • We have a better workforce visibility for our employees.
Paylocity has helped us streamline our processes for better time management and better visibility on our employees to make sure we are following the legal guidelines for employers. It has cut down on manual data entry and user errors. It has saved us money on electronic files vs paper files and on going paperless for W-2s, etc.
Our employees are learning to use the Community module and enjoy encouraging one another there.
Paylocity is more user friendly.

I think Paylocity is best suited for small companies or larger companies that only have one way of processing employees. They do work very hard to specialize specific nuances needed for unusual circumstances. They are also able to integrate with other platforms to help with a more seamless process. We are learning more to be able to implement the many facets of Paylocity.
