Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity to manage our employees trainings, time off, pay, benefits, and general information. It is the software we use for onboarding and launching our new employees. During the onboarding we can also access E-verify and direct deposit can be set up for payroll. Employees also use the software to request time off and enroll in benefits.

Pros

  • There is a lot of uses that can be done with this software from Payroll to Benefits
  • Easy to search for employees

Cons

  • Reporting- hard to pull reports
  • Customer service on the phone
  • Benefits- many errors
  • workers comp code-errors/glitches
  • Easy to assign Trainings
  • Open enrollment for Benefits had to be delayed due to account manager not following up, we are still waiting for their updates
A year ago when I first started using this software, time off request were easy to fins and request. There was an update and we have been getting a lot of feedback from our employees that it is now difficult to find. The tax forms section is also confusing for some.
We have not had any employees mention or comment about this topic. When I log into my account, I do not see any of the announcements that might show up on my phone app. Like anniversaries with the company.

This program has a lot of potential, but there are many glitches that we have to contact help for. Sometime we do not hear back from our questions for weeks or months. There seems to be a high turnover in staff. I do think its helpful that it is a software where it can be a one stop shop for our employees, but it is not user friendly.
