Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We have loved using Paylocity for a streamlined payroll process and the LMS has been wonderful and so much better than our old spreadsheets and disorganized training documents.

Pros

  • Great LMS system
  • Great community/news page
  • Ability to easily navigate to timesheets

Cons

  • I do wish you could do reviews in the mobile app
  • A way to update/edit final trainings in LMS
  • A way for an admin to easily look at timesheets in the mobile app
  • Easy access to guides and info for employees
  • Completing trainings within the app
  • Easy benefits administration
The benefits portal has greatly increased our efficiency for completing open enrollment and qualifying events or new hire benefits. I do wish we could add an inclusion for a reminder when someone has an FOC that also includes benefits for a dependent or signify that it was a court ordered dependent for their benefits when they are enrolling.
Our Community section allowed us to get rid of multiple other applications that we were using to try to notify everyone in the company of different news or information happening regularly. It is also a great tool for others to send appreciation or recognition for birthdays or achievements! Surveys have also been a great tool.
I enjoy their mobile app and that was a huge upgrade for us from our previous HRIS which did not have a mobile app. The main menu is easy to understand and navigate where you need to go or get you to wherever you are looking to. Overall very easy.
They had an LMS and Benefits along with integrated Time and Attendance so that is was brought us to overall choosing Paylocity. We also would like to work on integrating the onboarding modules and the recruiting modules but we just have not gotten there yet. We do also want to integrate recognition.

The LMS was a big selling point for us along with the Benefits portal to bring our benefits elections fully digital. The Time & Attendance is also extremely easy to navigate and easy to train supervisors and managers on. Submitting PTO is a breeze for employees through their apps. I do think if you weren't needing Benefits or Time Attendance or an LMS it might not be as much of a fit for you.
