Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for timesheets and benefits. It makes HR and payroll easy to manage. It also makes keeping track of employee project costs easier by being able to use multiple project codes to track labor costs. They also have many resources to figure out payroll related issues.

Cons

  • In my experience, the timesheet portion can be glitchy
  • missing payroll approval in the HR and Payroll portion
  • Missing being able to go on behalf of an employee to walk them through something
  • Missing having a test account since admin view, in my opinion, is different, it would be nice to have a test account to help staff on different issues

We do not have any automation tools in place payroll wise with my company

We have had some not so great account managers. In my experience, they were impossible to get ahold of, told us they could not make outgoing calls, would not read our emails now help with issues. We got a new account manager and this one is far more helpful. We always receive a response within 20 minutes.
