Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
As the People Operations Manager, I use Paylcity as an HR hubb. I refer to it as my HR BFF. Paylocity is my built in personnel files, my onboarding work flow, my systems manager on benefits enrollment and management, and a training hub.
The biggest business problems that we have faced are the small attention to detail steps on certain functions. For example, an employee can enter a QLE and make changes to their benefits; however, Paylocity does not allow them to do so for future dates even though their elections still have to be approved by an admin. Doing it this way forces the employee to wait until the first of the month to enter it. Depending on the day of the week, it could take several days for it to feed over to the carriers and then several more days to get into their systems. As an admin, I can enter a future date to ensure all the information is fed over to the carriers in a timely manner, but its an extra step that I have to take and a waste of the employee's time.

Time saver and space saver. We do not have to keep physical copies or personnel files in our office. Its is also a self serve system that empowers employees to be proactive and work for themselves when it comes to HR functions/ benefits. Paylocity makes Open Enrollment and new hire election super easy.
We use a different system to capture this but it is integrated with Paylocity.
