Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use several Paylocity modules: Payroll, Benefits, COBRA, Spending Accounts, Onboarding, Expense, and Surveys

Pros

  • It is fairly simple to transmit payroll.
  • The workflows and documents are useful.

Cons

  • In my experience, implementation on all but onboarding was horrible!
  • In my opinion, reporting is not good.
  • I feel like their customer service is terrible. In my experience, my account rep changes frequently but that doesn't seem to matter because it's never the first person that I get when I call in anyway.
  • In my opinion, the amount of time that I spent during the initial implementation and after trying to fix errors was a nightmare.
I wouldn't say that I spend any less time on these things (payroll, scheduling, or time tracking) because of Paylocity.
Although we do not use Community or Peer Recognition, the Surveys tool has been great. We were able to eliminate a charge from an outside company because of the ability to utilize Surveys.
Personally, I would go back to ADP in a heartbeat if it made sense for our budget. Paylocity was significantly less expensive which is why we moved away from ADP.

In my opinion, I would go back to ADP if I could make the decision!
