Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use it for performance, payroll, onboarding, recruiting, learning management, surveys and timekeeping.

Pros

  • Recruiting is a great tool. It makes it easy to keep candidates running through the system.
  • The onboarding is super easy to use.
  • Payroll is easy to use and it takes minutes.

Cons

  • The customer service center is slow and not all of the agents are trained the same.
  • You can call one rep and get one answer and call until you get the answer you like.
  • Timekeeping and PTO is not very good.
  • It has eliminated data on multiple spreadsheets and margin for error.
It has given us precious time back in our day for taking care of other important matters. It has also given us peace of mind that the data is accurate.
Paylocity was cheaper and a little easier interface than the others we toured.

Paylocity is well suited for organizing your employee data in a place where you can best use it to your benefit. It helps you keep all your personnel data in one place efficiently. Paylocity would be great if it had a part of the system where you could on-board an employee and it would essentially make their email addresses and give access to certain systems.
