Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use velocity as our payroll provider and tracking for PTO/Sick time. For the most part, we really like using the platform because it's a relatively easy user interface and can generate helpful reports. The one aspect we tend to struggle with is getting it to correctly track the PTO and Sick time of our employees.

Pros

  • Change in employee status or deductions and raises.
  • Input of new employees.
  • Generating reports.

Cons

  • A little more explanation for some needed input values.
  • Tracking of time off sick & PTO.
  • Reduced errors.
  • Consistent processing.
At this point, very little. We haven't had the need because HR and Finance support each other pretty well in our company.
We don't use it for this.
Paylocity is much more user-friendly.

Overall, it's a user-friendly platform. The more you interact with it, the more intuitive it becomes. I am trying to convince our C-suits to merge our sister companies all into one platform and use Paylocity for payroll.
