Paylocity excels as a user-friendly and cost-effective alternative to ADP Workforce Now. - Easy-to-use expense tracking module with flexibility at the expense and report level, along with an easy-to-use app.

- Some features of the mobile app, such as expense report PDF uploading, do not always work.
- The Time and Labor module often freezes.
- Reduction of internal systems to manage employees, which resulted in some cost savings.
- Expense and wage data will help us improve our decision-making during budget review.
I'm not sure that Paylocity has provided additional time for our HR staff. We only have one person however and the tools have provided us the ability to consolidate information into a single place and improve decision-making.
The Impressions module has motivated employees internally and provided a method for not only recognizing employees publicly but also giving additional tools to the manager during our annual review. Community is a nice broadcast feature for important, but non-confidential information that can be shared with employees, such as the announcement of company events or benefits.
Paylocity had more integrated features and modules at a reduced cost. It allowed us to make the switch without adding to our overall budget. It also reduced the number of systems required internally to manage people (recruiting, benefits, learning, and performance). Other tools were not as user-friendly and, after including the additional models, were more expensive.
