Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity to process our semi-monthly payroll. We also use it for various trainings and are about to implement the annual review process using this platform.

Pros

  • Track time for employees.
  • Automates the pay process.
  • Tracks onboarding of new hires.

Cons

  • Difficult to find where some setup fields are located.
  • Reduced time required to process payroll.
  • Reduced errors.
  • Better tracking of accruals.
The timecard tracking and ability to import that into payroll has been a timesaver. But it still takes a bit too many steps to accomplish.
We have seen an uptick in employees interacting with the platform and getting information themselves that they used to call and ask for.

Overall, I think Paylocity works well for a small to medium sized company (20-100 employees). That is the universe I am in, and I have found it to be a robust package.
