Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use it to enter and correct timecards, print and review reports, 401K audits, EEO audits and reports, enter new hires, and terminate employees. Training videos. It is the most important program I use daily. With the recent loss of our payroll person we were caught not knowing all that she did, Paylocity walked us through the steps to complete some tasks.

Pros

  • User friendly.
  • Saves changes without error.
  • Easy to make custom reports.
  • Responds fairly quickly to questions or problems.
  • Offers great assistance

Cons

  • I would like to have access to technicians. Sometimes, the response time is 24-48 hours, which makes it hard when you are stuck and pressured for time.
  • They need to give complete answers to questions. I had a problem that took at least six emails back and forth to find out what the problem was.
  • Since using Paylocity, I have only explored a small amount of its functions. As time allows, I will continue to use it more. I'm impressed with what it has to offer.
  • I use the reports and love how easy they can be accessed.
  • Updating personal information on the self-service portal is easy for our employees and helpful for our team. It saves us time and allows the employee to feel empowered to do things themselves. Everything they need to know is right at their fingertips.
We are giving our employees the tools to manage their time-off requests, view their balances, and submit their requests. Also, going paperless has been great. Who needs paper check stubs when you can see everything on the app? We save time since they can get any question answered about what benefits they have and are using.
We love giving acknowledgement and recognizing birthdays, anniversaries, with Paylocity it's simple and means a lot to our employees.
It's very user-friendly. I think it is as good, if not better.

Yes

I had never used Paylocity before. I took their training classes and learned a lot on my own. It was super easy to navigate. I have been able to train new employees on how to use it. I so user friendly and the customer support is great.
