Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

HR- compliance & record keeping, document retention, onboarding, recruiting, payroll, time & attendance, lms, benefits, spending accounts.

Pros

  • Technology is done well
  • Always improving and building on what they have
  • Time & labor product

Cons

  • We need more in recruiting -more places to post and get better applicants better things within the platform for communication between hiring manager and recruiter. Add req process so managers can get the process started instead of us having to use emails back and forth.
  • Need better customer service- I’ve been having multiple issues in various areas and not able to get it resolved in a timely manner or at all. Have to explain and re explain what the issue is and I get pushed to someone else constantly!
  • Stop charging extra for all new things. Help me get the most out of what i have already and add on to that instead of just selling extra things all the time. I’m not using what i have to the fullest extent so add subject matter experts in the different modules to look at the capabilities and go through what could be done. In my experience, once you're out of implementation you're left to deal with your customer service account manager who is expected to know everything about everything but they don’t it’s impossible. I need someone to help me exclusively deal with recruiting and how we can improve what we have in our modules.

Paylocity has helped reduce time for paper tasks with onboarding and all of that. Attendance points are huge for us with tracking and processing payroll quickly. Having benefits automated has been HUGE for us and using the edi file feeds has been hands down the best addition for us.
Community has helped get important information to our employees especially those who don’t have company email addresses. Impressions is working well but need to push this out more in our org and surveys are great - just wish it would calculate enps for us!
More automation, easier to use, better reporting, more visually appealing, more modules available

The product is great and i love using it. There are improvements in some areas but thats to be expected. They are always improving the product and thats appreciated. But dont enjoy constantly being sold too with extras instead of trying to help maximize what we have. In my opinion, customer service is lacking greatly-they are expected to know way too much and in the end cant help with many things that are needed. I’m tired of being thrown articles of how to help. No help me and help walk me through things my situation may not be cookie cutter and what’s explained in the article.
