Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use it for payroll and the full HRIS portal for onboarding, recruiting, comp, training, and performance reviews. We previously only had Excel files, which increased the chance of errors and redundant work. We also like the report features. The comp module is super easy and helps a lot during annual merit increases. We love it.
Pros
- Comp Module.
- Onboarding
- Training
- Recruiting
Cons
- Better support.
- Benefits: I'm not sure this is working great for customers.
- Talent - completing apps and not saving.
- Reduced duplicate work.
- Reduced errors.
- Better reporting.
We can spend more time running effective reports and reporting back to management. I no longer have to calculate turnover by hand; the system does it for me. It saves loads of time and is accurate. I like the graphs and share them with managers.
I think our employees like having everything in one place with a single sign-on. We have not rolled out Benefits yet, but we are looking at that. Also, the annual 1095s are so much easier in this system. It is a little confusing, and we need consultant help, but in the end, it provides accurate tax forms to employees and files our company taxes to the government and state.
I liked the Paylocity demo better and the way Paylocity simplifies things. Payroll was their beginning, and then they added many more modules. Every system has its kinks. We work with the service team to improve their capabilities.
