Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity in our organization is utilize to process payroll, manage staff new hires, terminations, transfers, communication to and from staff within Community portal, manage benefit online sign up and approvals, manage pay and promotion approvals, time card entry from staff from their time clock, PTO accrual, PTO requests, FMLA & Leave tracking. Very comprehensive amount of data management for organization.
Pros
- Payroll is simplistic.
- Reporting is robust and allows for dashboard setup per user to have most important items at the top of the list.
- HR data management.
- Customer Service response time on the initial request is responded to timely.
Cons
- As an experienced user it seems that the majority of items that are taken to customer service have to be pushed on to support team and not an immediate resolution. They will log your recommendation so that it can be potentially addressed in future update.
- Quicker set up for connections to benefit vendors. This process is timely and more timely than I have been used to with other providers.
- More general leadership tools as a part of Learning platform.
- Ability to manage and evaluate turnover quickly and efficiently.

- Data Analytics tool has saved a lot of hours of reporting and reworking reports.
Yes, in a positive way in that time recording and time management for staff has been greatly improved from previous provider. Additionally, the simplistic and common sense nature of Paylocity has minimized the amount of time spent by HR personnel to handle staff management even from logistics perspective as we have over 350 employees and over 15 different locations of work being performed.
Community is a great tool as it is similar to an internal FACEBOOK page. We have utilized this tool to handle all of the internal communication within the organization. The communication can also be specific to individuals, locations, or divisions within the organization which allows for all types of communication with staff to improve engagement as well as just give staff the felling of inclusion.

Much more simplistic to navigate and makes overall more common sense. The reporting functions as well as data analyst tools are much more user friendly. Training time to navigate the software and have it accomplish tasks at hand take very little time and their make team much more productive on an ongoing basis.
