Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Primarily for payroll and personnel document storage, we were very unhappy with ADP and switched to a solution that was easier to use and offered better features.

Pros

  • Customer Service.
  • Easy Interface.

Cons

  • Branding isn't great - There are some generic visuals on our site that we would prefer to change or design ourselves, and look circa 1990.
  • ROI - month-to-month payment option and price, combined with great functionality, has been a huge win!
Created a lot of efficiencies!
Don't really use - tbh, we use Slack and Slack's platform is better for this type of communication - we aren't using Paylocity as a "log in every day" landing page for our company and likely never would (in general, we just wouldn't do this).
Paylocity is way easier and more effective for my company, which is a small to medium-sized business (under 100 employees). ADP was quite complicated and expensive, and our account representatives didn't seem to be proactively interested in us (we went many years without any check-ins).

Again, the branding here could be way, way better, and some details around functionality could be improved (mainly personnel development, etc.)
