Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is used to address most human resource functions and we also use Paylocity for address payroll and many functions in this area as well. Paylocity has addressed many issues, one particular is any state changes/requirements are quickly brought to our attention. Paylocity has allowed both accuracy and efficiency.
Pros
- I-9 processing
- Regulatory updates within the States we serve
- Suggestions with the many tools within the program that may not be utilized
- Ready technical support and great customer care
Cons
- Reports need a little more functionality. Ex. A new hire report should have the capability to include specific time frames without having to pull another report to get specific dates.
- I will be prepared to answer this question maybe next year as our initial implementation was a little rocky but now that our dedicated folks are assigned and our organization is using the necessary functions of the system, a better review to come.
We are fully automated in these areas with Paylocity and this has streamlined an allowed for accuracy which is most important to our finance department.
Very important, employee engagement is crucial in today's workforce. Our community within Paylocity is most beneficial. It allows for easy recognition and allows for consistency as the tool is at ones finger tips.

The systems functionalities are very similar, but no matter how great a system may be is good customer care does not represent the program, the reviews will always be poor.
