Paylocity Review
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for our HRIS. Payroll, annual reviews, onboarding documents, disciplinary tracking, time off requests, benefits.
Pros
- Easy interface for the end user
- Not overly complicated to set up a new manager or change reporting structure, which differs from Workday
- Compensation module
Cons
- LOA Management and tracking - you can add information but it lives by itself in a separate page and you can't run reporting or have PTO/Time Off requests linked to LOA tracking
- Reports - too many listed that are not useful for the business. Would be great to have a curated list of reports for a company, and a separate list you can access if you want to and build off of. Also, static reports are formatted horribly when you download them.
- Org Chart - should be able to manipulate and print easier
- na
- Reduce employee confusion in requesting time off for various reasons
I do not use Paylocity in this way, but our Payroll team does. It would be great if Paylocity had better automation for LOA tracking.
Workday is a beast and very complicated for admin users. Paylocity is much easier. But Workday has more functionality,
