Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

we use Paylocity to process payroll, onboard new employees, COBRA
the product addresses payroll issues that may come up as well as tax questions and other matters regarding payroll

Pros

  • payroll process is user friendly
  • onboarding employees
  • handling COBRA employees

Cons

  • i would like to see customizing reports more user friendly
  • i would like to see the PTO history made easier to understand
  • processing time effectiveness
We have an HR manager to process everything HR and I am the payroll administrator processing payroll. These 2 positions have been in effect at your company for a long time and the owner likes having the processes handled this way
We use the Community often recognizing employee's who have done a great job, we also post birthdays, anniversaries, upcoming events. We have not used it for surveys as the owner prefers another program and have never used premium video
overall Paylocity is a great program and the customer support has always been outstanding.
Paylocity is more involved than the other programs but in the same respect has a lot more features than these programs

I have used other payroll processing programs and Paylocity seems to be the best in that it is precise and once you get down the process, it's pretty simple to navigate.
Since I only process payroll on Paylocity, I cannot speak for the HR side, which I know our HR manager uses to onboard employees as well as other HR tasks.
