Paylocity is our all-in-one HRIS, Payroll, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Lifecycle, and Compliance tool.

Pros

  • Accurate payroll processing.
  • Thorough Recruiting process.
  • Simplifies onboarding and all other personnel actions.

Cons

  • Develop a full AP/AR process that integrates with the other financial tools like payroll, expenses, etc.
  • Have the platform DCAA compliant and have it audited so that companies can use it as a definitive government contracting platform.
  • Develop an improvement that would allow for Time and Labor integration and reporting to Medicaid for service providers so they don't need multiple systems.
  • Reduced time.

The automation is like a personal assistant. It reduces the time we have to spend on tasks that can be automated.
The engagement of our staff has increased by around 40% from the previous systems we used.
Ease of use and it is a very robust system.

Paylocity appears to be well-suited for startups to large businesses. As with any product, finding the right price point for the services provided is the challenge. Always remember that one small company that would really appreciate the "benefits essentials" or some other part of the platform but can't afford them right now, may be the ones to get you that large company through word of mouth...IF they had been able to experience that part of the product and refer it to others.
