Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Employee record management for 50-75 employees, payroll processing, timecard management, and recruiting.

Pros

  • Service at Paylocity is phenomenal, with excellent communication and prompt support available.
  • Ease of payroll processing, a very intuitive system that guides you through the process. Will place holds on payroll if items need to be reviewed prior to submitting payroll.
  • Sync with other platforms we use, such as our benefits management system, EASE.
  • Allows us to have a custom time card punching/time tracking setup that allows for labor tracking.

Cons

  • Timecard entry glitches occasionally, causing blank entries and causing line items to have to be deleted and resubmitted.
  • Specialized training on payroll processing and employees within a Payroll Specialist position.
  • Reduced bi-weekly payroll processing time due to Paylocity Service support team help.
  • Timecard glitches have resulted in additional labor time for our employees.
  • Housing employee employment and personal profile within payroll is great. Very intuitive and user-friendly, allowing our employees to easily find their information and update any personal/banking details.
It's fairly automated for us, but it would be nice to have a chat Payroll Specialist on demand. However, it's made the payroll process shortened from nearly three hours bi-weekly to 1.5.
We do not currently use these functions within paylocity as a company.
We always get answers via Service at Paylocity on how to navigate through Paylocity, whether it's payroll processing, timecard issues, questions about benefits or deductions, etc. It's very intuitive in its homepage layout and you can easily find the area you are looking for.
We've switched from ADP to Paylocity, as Paylocity allowed for a custom timecard entry setup that tracks data and labor. The reports that Paylocity offers cannot be matched, in our opinion. We have saved on Payroll processing time (about 1.5hrs every week weeks). ADP less was automated and required more steps, payroll processing with Paylocity is less clunky and more automated.

The Service at Paylocity email support and quick response has been a lifesaver for our company. We can ask the payroll specialists almost anything regarding time tracking, payroll issues, employee accruals, and more, and we receive a response on the same day.
