Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Corporate Services uses the software to manage personal and document control for a multi-million dollar project.

Pros

  • Seemingly unlimited storage capacity
  • Fast Uploads
  • Strong file structure capability
  • Controllable permission levels (Gens, Subs, Contractors, etc)

Cons

  • Frequent crashes when navigating submittal pages as well as RFI page
  • Slow speeds when working through lists of submittals
  • Slow speeds when uploading larger documents
  • Very expensive for what more inexpensive software programs can potentially provide
  • Numerous "in progress" or "hope to be added later" comments have been made that make us uneasy about what exactly we can anticipate being offered
  • SharePoint and Ops Center
  • SharePoint- similar file structure abilities- would be nice to have a sync ability for keeping everyone updated locally with what happens on ProCore
  • Ops Center- similar in structure and functionality
The toolbox is a very useful navigation tool that allows good versatility for a user to navigate documents and keep organized. RFIs are not logically designed in this software where RR (revise and resubmit) and ASN (approved as noted) do not seem to function how it should for our industry. The health bar on the homepage would be more helpful if the functionality of RFIs were better researched.
