Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is being used by a majority of the employees in our construction company. We use it to track, coordinate, distribute and save all of our construction documentation from RFIs and submittals to meeting minutes, photos, plans, schedules, you name it! This helps us to share our information with other entities including our clients and the design professionals that design the large water resource projects that we build.
- Procore has some great tools that allow our company to track and save all types of construction documentation.
- Procore is a great software that allows all interested parties from the designers and contractor to the owner to be able to see what is happening on a project in real time and to access all of the documents that they may be interested from anywhere any time.
- Procore is very proactive as a company and they try hard to get feedback from users and to implement changes that make the product more useful and user-friendly.
- Procore does have the ability to be customized for each individual company including the formatting of pre-made forms, etc. Procore does charge however for most heavy customization.
- Procore is web-based and it is nice that you can access it from anywhere, however due to it being completely web based it can be a bit slow if you are on a jobsite with poor internet access.
- Procore can be a bit of a challenge to learn when it comes to the accounting side of the software.
- Procore was an investment for our company to standardize our construction documentation across our entire company and multiple projects. It has worked extremely well for us and we feel that it has been a great investment.
- There is really no negative impact to bringing Procore online at our company it is just important to realize that there is a learning curve as with any new software so it will take some investment in man hours to get everyone trained on the software
Procore is much better than the competitors software because it is tailored perfectly for construction management and can be accessed by everyone involved in the project real-time.
