Procore is for Pros!
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We use procore as our primary project management, quality control and safety documentation tool. Its biggest advantage are real-time project controls, the mobile app and ability to include clients, subcontractors and architects/engineers for increased transparency and better communication.
Pros
- Real-time project controls help bring the team together instantly. This allows to make quicker adjustments and avoid cost/schedule overruns.
- The ease-of-use of the mobile app helps our field representatives be involved with Procore quicker than learning a "whole new software". The app is the "lite" version of the desktop allowing quick access to all areas of the project in a few taps.
- Client, subcontractor and architect/engineer direct involvement with the project on Procore increases transparency, speeds up project communication and overall speeds up the pace of project-related business. Daily, automated emails to remind individuals about their specific open items is a key benefit.
- Constantly updating and upgrading the tools.
Cons
- Native scheduling tool
- Easier financials tool navigation
- More customization on emails tool
- Submittals come back quicker.
- RFIs are answered quicker.
- Defects are corrected quicker.
- Potential change orders are tracked better.
- Sage 300CRE
Sage is great for accounting and financials, but falls short when it come real-time project controls and documentation.
