Overall Satisfaction with Procore
At our company, we are utilizing Procore to help assist us with project management (submittals, RFIs, etc.) and quality and safety. It is mainly being used by all of the onsite projects staff. This program addresses document organization and tracking of documents in regards to timely responses.
- The submittal & RFI chart shows how long a document has been outstanding and the trend for architect responses to these documents.
- Daily logs - Keeps track of the daily activities, weather, and manpower that is onsite.
- Drawing/Specification tool shows the most current set but still keeps the previous revisions accessible.
- The inspections tool needs some work in regards to having actual inspection templates to start from.
- The Punch List tool need an easier way of inputting information while on a punch list walk.
- Importing and exporting capabilities for submittal logs, giving the consumer the capabilities to perform this function.
Submittal procurement - the subcontractor has access to submit their documents through procore for our review; procore notifies me when they have submitted this document, then this document gets submitted to the architect for his/her review. This prevents submitting documents through an email which can easily be overlooked.
- Helped with organization, less paper to deal with.
Better organized and multiple entities can use it (Architects, Owner's, Subcontractors, etc.). Very user-friendly.
