Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore was rolled out on a complex multi-year project that involved many team members who need multiple project management tools in one platform, rather than trying to duplicate work across many different systems. This synergy across the different tools saves time and simplifies how information is distributed to all team members.
  • Reports - Since you can track just about anything from deliveries, equipment, daily reports, punch lists you can generate reports to summarize the impacts of that data.
  • Document control - Keeps everything in one place and revisions/updates are managed easily.
  • RFI Organization - Make easy ball-in-court assignments to keep the flow of information moving.
  • Some challenges with handling specifications and verifying how sections are processed.
  • Finding project information in one place instead of jumping into different software platforms for RFIs, viewing plans, etc.
  • Reduce the amount of paper printed.
  • Easy on the mobile app too.
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
  • Identify job site risks
  • Improve forecast accuracy
It does require you to jump in with both feet and fully adopt it to get the best use of the features. Getting some users spun up who may not be tech-savvy is a bit of a challenge.
It's beneficial to connect lots of team members on large projects across each aspect of the project including the design team, owner, general contractors, project management team, and subcontractors.

The training was broken up into various segments to build upon each concept learned. It has a self-paced training that gave examples, let you practice and then tested on what you learned. Then there were also follow-up training web-call to reinforce the concepts and answer questions with a real-life person from Procore.

Using Procore

From the web interface to the mobile app it is a consistent interface and tools are similar.
