Overall Satisfaction with Procore
I use Procore on a daily basis for managing and analyzing manpower on the jobsite, managing all inspection and QC documentation including but not limited to wall close-ins, concrete pours and floor close-ins. Procore greatly assists with keeping all inspections and punch out walks all in one place. Additionally, all inspections and punch items can be linked to drawings and easily distributed to responsible parties to move work along.
- Integration of information necessary for in-field success with project management team input.
- Linking what is being completed/not completed on site to drawings viewed/assigned to others for greater accountability.
- User friendly, everything is fairly intuitive and easy to learn one you understand how it is formated.
- Creating inspections, for the first time, can be difficult to set-up but easy to do once you've done it once.
- I struggled at first with putting meeting minutes in after OAC, Foreman's meetings, team meetings, etc just based on the order you have to input information to make it all show up on the next meetings agenda. Once I got the hang of the process, I've been fine.
- At times Procore is laggy, especially when dealing with projects with large amount of files. The time to update between the computer and phone can be delayed which is frustrating at times especially when you need something out in the field.
- The mobile app for Procore greatly cuts down on paper usage for inspection forms and observations requiring signoffs. When all you need is an ipad or phone to access all signoffs , it is quicker and easier to then distribute to the entire project team.
- When all you need is an iPad or phone to access all the drawings it makes so much easier to answer the question right in the field rather than having to go check the physical plans.
- It is much easier to provide access to your trades and teach them how to use the software in the long run since they will always receive updated drawings and can see answers to RFI or submittal related documents all in one place rather than having to always follow up with the Project Management team.
Haven't integrated any other software with Procore on any of the projects I have been on so far.
For trades that are constantly on site, the copy daily feature from either the day before or even weeks or months prior is incredibly time saving. In my case, I cut down the time to enter all the spec section, company name, etc. for all trades over half since I can copy all of that information from the previous daily and only add the necessary information such as man power and daily tasks/activities.
Can't speak to this. I know personally I would struggle to do my job well without this software since it saves so much time and makes me more efficient on the jobsite.
