Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is a very versatile piece of software that covers a wide range of challenges that all construction managers have encountered in their time in the field and in the office. Knowing where your hours are going, knowing what the status is on various aspects of the job, keeping punch list items in check, having a live version of the blueprints always at your fingertips, and communicating with various trades in real-time. Procore does all of these things very well.
- File Management
- Change request Management & RFI's (Request for information)
- Drawing & architectural print management
- New user friendly (old timers might struggle to hop right in)
- Dashboards (one stop shop of project data)
- Cost management
- Very positive, if you don't know where your job is at, you cant control it
- Communication between trades is absolutely vital in large projects
- Keeping RFI's and Documents in one place is also vital
I did not use any third-party software with Procore during the time where I utilized this software. I know that have a large integration pool for people who would like to get more out of the software, but I was never able to take advantage of it at the time
Procore is very much the industry-standard software, I personally preferred using field wire because it was considerably more user-friendly for field operators to understand. Procore is utilized more readily between different trades, so often we would see Procore to be better when you are bringing multiple teams under one project
