Overall Satisfaction with PRTG Network Monitor
We utilize PRTG in the IT department to monitor network devices, servers, and services locally and remotely. PRTG provides real-time information about our system's health by alerting my team when something goes down/offline. I have PRTG Maps displayed on TVs throughout our department so other departments and employees see the status of our infrastructure.
- Monitoring throughput through network devices.
- Monitoring services for a critical application.
- Alerting staff when devices go offline.
- Providing a log of events and system status at any moment in the past.
- PRTG Maps\Web Pages are cumbersome to setup and change.
- The configuration interface is old and is not easy to work with at times.
- Enhanced triggers with more options.
- PRTG does well providing a way for IT to be more proactive.
- PRTG allows troubleshooting issues faster minimizing downtime.
I have not used any other products.
